3D.expert is the operating brand of Delta 2 Sigma, LLC. We convert sketches, concepts, and existing parts into detailed 3D CAD models, manufacturing drawings, prototypes, tooling, and finished custom components. Our work emphasizes manufacturability, practical problem-solving, and clear, supplier-ready documentation.
What We Do
We provide product and tooling design for 3D printing, injection molding, CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication, welding, casting, forging, stamping, and die-cutting. We also specialize in low-pressure molding tooling and production for overmolded connectors, wire and cable assemblies, and encapsulated PCB assemblies.
Chris Bulen is a Dassault Systèmes Certified SOLIDWORKS Professional (CSWP), demonstrating advanced proficiency in parametric part modeling, assemblies, and SOLIDWORKS design tools.

Many companies need experienced product-design and manufacturing support but do not have enough continuous work to justify another full-time employee. Delta 2 Sigma provides project-based assistance with defined scopes, deliverables, schedules, and costs.

Depending on the project, Delta 2 Sigma can provide CAD models, manufacturing drawings, prototypes, tooling, CNC-machined components, 3D-printed parts, assembly, and low-pressure molding.
Yes. Projects can begin with sketches, photographs, existing parts, preliminary CAD, or a written description. The amount of development required will be reflected in the quotation.
SOLIDWORKS is the primary CAD platform. Neutral-format files such as STEP, Parasolid, IGES, STL, and DXF can also be provided when appropriate.
You will work directly with Chris Bulen. Specialized manufacturing operations may be performed by qualified suppliers selected for the project.
